Fish Kebabs
This is a simple recipe, perfect as a starter, ideal for picnics and excellent as a sandwich filling. It was passed on to me by a Khoji friend from Tanzania.
Ingredients
oil for deep frying 10ozs tinned tuna in brine or water 4 oz boiled and mashed potatoes 1 egg 2 tbs freshly chopped green coriander 2 crushed green chillies (skip for mild) 2 oz crushed onion
Method
- Heat oil to a medium heat in a wok or deep frying pan.
- Place all other ingredients in a large deep bowl; mix well.
- Make into 2 inch round, oval or flat burger shapes and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve cold or warm with any salad and yoghurt chutney.
