Who?

I run cookery courses for small groups, either in my own kitchen or at selected venues, to provide a memorable learning experience tailored to your own cooking ability and interests.

Maybe you...
  1. are completely new to Pakistani/Indian cooking and you want to experiment with cooking some basic popular dishes.
  2. know the basics but you want to be more adventurous or to impress your visitors.
  3. are just fed up of queuing for takeaways
  4. or you want to surprise your mates one weekend!

What?

Courses usually last 3 hours and you will find that my teaching style is very hands-on. I will demonstrate the important culinary techniques and you will be able to help with some of these – together we will create a series of tasty and interesting dishes from scratch, using fresh ingredients and authentic spices. You will be able to taste all of the dishes we cook on the day and you will be able to take away the cooked dishes for sharing with friends and family.

My Teaching Experience

I am a qualified and experienced tutor with a Basic Health & Hygiene certificate and have run many popular cookery classes at Adult Education centres.  The positive feedback from this led me to take up the challenge of training professional chefs, culminating in an event where I trained 75 chefs in one day! My demonstrations at cookery venues including the Tante Marie School of Cooking and Le Cordon Bleu International are always popular and well attended.
